Kindergarten Narrative Writing Stop Motion Movies

Some kindergarten students have been reading about ships and boats. After reading, they designed their own boats and printed them on the 3D printer. Then, they had to create a story in their wordless books. Afterwards, they had to use their imagination to create a story and turn it into a Stop Movie. Here is their final product. The boat in the image is one of the 3D printed ones they designed, along with each of the scenes they created.

2nd Grade Figurative Language Video

I have been co-teaching with a 2nd grade teacher. We are working on figurative language. The students created a movie for others to practice personification, simile and metaphor. Enjoy!
